2. PARTICULAR QUALITY WARRANTY
If the product delaminates (separation of plywood layers or only solid top layer from the bottom part) the full replacement product cost will be reimbursed as if the same product was being purchased for the same affected flooring area.
Summit Flooring Ltd provide a 10 year product warranty for residential use and covers materials and manufacturing defects. The warranty becomes effective on the date of purchase. A statement of conformity in relation to compliance with the Installation Guidelines provided by Summit Flooring must also be provided, confirming that the installation was carried out as per the specific requirements.

3. Revised E3 Regulations – November 2021
Since November 2021, engineered Oak flooring is no longer an ‘Acceptable Solution’ in wet areas (defined as kitchens, laundries, powder rooms and toilets).
However, fear not … this only means that a bit more paperwork is required as part of your Building Consent application to satisfy your local authority that the engineered Oak flooring system is compliant with the E3 revisions, as an ‘Alternative Solution’.
Please refer to our SF E3 AS1 Alternative Solutions documentation which can be submitted with your application for Building Consent to satisfy the E3 revisions. This refers to single unit dwellings. If you require the paperwork for an application in relation to multi-unit dwellings, please contact us as we can provide this specific to your circumstance.
